Σκακιστικό φτερούγισμα του «Ίκαρου» σε όλη τη γη! - "Ikaros" flies once more!

Με τους αγώνες των πρώτων δύο γύρων ξεκίνησε ο φετινός "Ίκαρος", ο οποίος συμπληρώνει 38 έτη παρουσίας στα ελληνικά και διεθνή σκακιστικά δρώμενα! Παρά την την κρίσιμη και δύσκολη οικονομική και κοινωνική συγκυρία οι φίλοι του τουρνουά έδειξαν εμπιστοσύνη και θετική διάθεση με αποτέλεσμα τη συμμετοχή συνολικά 130 σκακιστών από 13 χώρες (Αλβανία, Αυστραλία -εκπροσωπείται πρώτη φορά στον Ίκαρο ο οποίος πλέον μπορεί να λέει ότι έχει φιλοξενήσει σκακιστές και από τις 5 ηπείρους!-, Βέλγιο, Δανία, ΗΠΑ, Ισπανία, Ιταλία, Ουγγαρία, Ουκρανία Σερβία, Σουηδία, Τσεχία και φυσικά την Ελλάδα) οι οποίοι αγωνίζονται στα δύο γκρουπ του τουρνουά.

Για όσους δεν μπορούν να βρίσκονται στην Ικαρία για να απολαύσουν τις ομορφιές του νησιού αλλά και να παρακολουθήσουν από κοντά του αγώνες που φιλοξενούνται στον άνετο χώρο του Κλειστού Γυμναστηρίου του Αγίου Κηρύκου, οι οχτώ πρώτες παρτίδες κάθε γύρου μεταδίδονται ζωντανά μέσω του skaki.gr (εδώ) ενώ αναμεταδίδονται και από το chessdom.com (εδώ) αλλά και από το argedrez.com (κατάλληλο ειδικά για smartphones) (εδώ).

"Ikaros" 2015, which completes 38 consecutive years of presence among the Greek and international chess events, commenced with the games of the first two rounds! Despite the current critical economic and social situation in Greece, the friends of the tournament proved their trust and their positive mood, with a total of 130 chess players from 13 countries (Albania, Australia –represented for the first time in Ikaros that can now boast that it has hosted chessplayers from 5 continents! -, Belgium, Denmark, USA, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Serbia, Ukraine, Sweden, Czech Republic and of course Greece) participating in the two groups of the tournament.

For those who cannot be at Ikaria to enjoy the beauties of the island and follow the games that are hosted in the spacey Sports Center of Aghios Kirykos, the first eight games of each round are transmitted live through skaki.gr (here) and are also retransmitted by chessdom.com (here) and argedrez.com (especially suitable for smartphones) (here).
