The
organizational committee of International Chess Tournament Ikaros 2016, in
collaboration with Hellenic Seaways, one of the main sponsors of the
tournament, offers considerable discounts on the price of the ferry tickets for
those who will travel to and from Ikaria for the tournament. The offer includes
a 50% discount on all passengers’ tickets (for all classes) and 30% discount on
vehicles’ tickets.

The
discount applies to tickets will be reserved through the organizing committee
of the tournament. Participants wishing to make use of the discount should
contact the organizing committee and prepay at least the price of a one-way
ticket (via deposit to the bank account of the tournament, see the official

Playing Schedule:
The
organizing committee informs the tournament participants that due to the
unexpected change of the ferry schedule from Ikaria to Piraeus (the change
became known just a few days ago and resulted in no ferry connection from
Ikaria to Piraeus on Tuesday 19/7) and in order to facilitate the return of
participants to Piraeus, the tournament schedule is adjusted as follows:
1st
Round: Monday 11/7, 7.00 pm
2nd
Round: Thursday 12/7, 11:00 a.m. (No games for Group B)
3rd
Round: Tuesday 12/7, 7.00 pm
4th
Round: Wednesday 13/7, 7.00 pm
5th
Round: Thursday 14/7, 11:00 a.m. (No games for Group B)
6th
Round: Thursday 14/7, 7.00 pm
7th
Round: Friday 15/7, 7:00 a.m.
8th
Round: Saturday 16/7, 7.00 pm

on the new playing schedule the costs of the accommodation package for the
various periods is adjusted as follows:
